Welcome to the Mumble! We’re an award-winning company of producers, directors, editors, sound designers, journalists, writers, and musicians. And we believe how we create is just as important as what we create. 

The faces you see on our website are the ones you hire. We’re a close-knit team that internalizes a project’s vision, communicates actively, and challenges each other creatively. We like working together, and it shows.

We like to join a project early, help shape the vision, and then carry it all the way to the finish line. But we can jump in at any point, and it’ll be so seamless, you might ask yourself if we weren’t there the entire time.

    Jayme Catsouphes

    Jayme (he/him) is a producer, director, editor, and sound designer. His favorite Beatles song growing up was “Revolution 9,” which explains a lot.

    Cara Ehlenfeldt

    Cara (they/them) is a producer, director, writer, and sound designer. They dream of one day recording the sound of rat laughter.

    Liz (she/her) is an audio reporter and producer whose stories have led her to search for hidden graves on a remote Indonesian island, scuba dive for seahorses, and interview a man who—except for his socks—was fully in the nude.

    Lee Mengistu

    Lee (she/they) is a director, producer, and artist. She may have manifested this career as a child by wearing out a graphic t-shirt featuring the phrase, “You have a face for radio.”

    David Tatasciore

    David (he/him) is an audio engineer, sound designer, and music editor from Delaware County, PA (Delco), where he grew up speaking with one of the most distinctive accents in the country, but unfortunately he can't remember how to do it anymore.

    Renée (she/her) is a production/operations manager and an aspiring audio editor. Her sonic patronous is a horn section in a salsa band.

    Jake (he/him) is an engineer, editor, sound designer, and composer. His favorite sound is the purring of his cat fed through a granular synthesizer.
